What the preview uses

Guest watchlists and viewing progress are stored in your browser. Signing in with ChatGPT supplies a site-specific account identifier and your sign-in email to Kinoflix. Your password is handled by the sign-in provider, not by Kinoflix.

For signed-in members, the site stores the account identifier, display name, saved films, viewing progress and update preference. Support requests also store the sign-in email, topic, message, related film, ticket status and timestamps. The email identifies the current session and restricts owner tools to the configured owner account.

If you previously submitted a founder application, its contact details, portfolio, experience, availability, location and introduction may have been processed through FormSubmit for delivery to the founder’s Yahoo inbox, or sent by you through a prepared email draft. The current About page does not present an application form. Contact us if you need to review, correct or request removal of a past application.

Visitor statistics

We collect private, first-party page-view and approximate visitor statistics, including country-level location supplied by our hosting provider. The server uses a secret-keyed hash of the connection IP address and browser user agent to estimate repeat visitors; raw IP addresses and user agents are not saved in the analytics database. No analytics cookies, browser storage, advertising identifiers or precise location are used. Shared networks, changing IP addresses and VPNs can affect these estimates. Unknown countries are reported separately.

Analytics event records are removed after seven days when traffic is processed; the owner can access aggregate reports privately through ChatGPT. Known bots, prefetch requests and signed-in owner visits are excluded. Browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are excluded from these analytics. These statistics measure page visits, not film watch time.

Why we use it

We use member information to save your preferences and viewing activity, provide support and restrict access to owner tools. An update preference records interest only; this preview does not send automated marketing messages.

Service providers and external content

Hosting, database and authentication providers process requests needed to operate the site. Sample films stream from external video hosts, which receive your device’s requests, including its IP address. External artwork and images also require requests to their hosts. Provider cookies and operational or security logs may be used to deliver and protect their services.

Stripe and Cloudflare Stream integrations have been prepared, but paid checkout and the commercial film catalog are not open. If these services are activated, payment details will be entered with the payment provider, and Kinoflix will store billing identifiers and subscription status rather than card numbers. This notice will be updated for the paid service before launch.

Your choices

You can browse sample films without signing in. Clear guest activity through your browser’s site-data settings. Signed-in members can change their display name, clear synced viewing history, download their saved account data or request deletion from the account page.

Deletion removes your Kinoflix member profile, saved films, viewing progress and associated support requests from the application database. It does not delete your ChatGPT account or copies held independently by email recipients and service providers. Billing-linked accounts require a support request so outstanding billing and record-retention obligations can be addressed.

Retention and security

Member and support records remain in the application database until removed through the available controls or by the owner. Application emails remain in the receiving mailbox until its owner deletes them. Hosting-provider logs and recovery copies follow their own retention periods; deleting live records does not immediately remove provider recovery copies.

The site uses HTTPS, authenticated member routes and owner access controls. No security measure is an absolute guarantee. Please avoid sending passwords, card numbers or other sensitive information through support or application forms.

Changes and questions

Changes to this notice will be posted here with an updated effective date. The commercial service will need an updated notice and subscription terms before paid launch. Contact us using the address above if you need to review or correct information held in an application email or support request.
